ABOUT ME
My name is Ms. Vaz, and I’m from Oshawa, Ontario. I finished my first degree at Brock University, and just finished my first year in Education at Acadia. I moved out to Nova Scotia in August of 2019 and, needless to say, I’m in love! I have a passion for education, and I’m so excited to continue with my teaching journey online. I hope you enjoy the lessons I have put together for you!

HOW TO USE THIS WEBSITE
Hey there!
Welcome to my virtual classroom! I’ve done my very best to make this as user friendly as I can, so let me explain how this works. In the top right hand corner of the site, you will see three tabs: Home, Lesson Plans, and Mental Math. The lesson plans are done like a blog and are super easy to follow along with, you just need to start at lesson 1 and work your way up from there! You’ll notice at the beginning of each lesson it tells you to choose some mental math games; this is when you head over to the mental math tab and browse the different kinds of math games I have posted. Each game comes with a set of instructions to follow, making it as simple as possible! With everything going on right now, please feel free to adjust anything you need to in the lessons. Learning from home can be tricky for anyone, especially when we can’t really leave! Whether it be discussing something orally instead of in writing, or choosing to make your own templates rather than printing mine off, do whatever works best for you! Now that we've covered the "How To", let’s get to it!
